About Me

I always hate writing my bio, I never know what to say. So here goes nothing…

You could say I’m no ordinary girl. I live in the Midwest where the summers are 90% humidity and the winters are long with plenty of blizzards. I’m an *almost* homeschooled graduate who loves words, photography, my family/friends, and her Savior.

I live on an organic farm out in the country. We have a small historical town with the most epical library ever. Around my house we have a large variety of animals that include four cats with serious attitude problems, a spoiled, adorable, retired race horse named Blaze, and a great big fluffy Newfoundland named Padfoot. (Fat Severus is my extremely fat and fluffy black and white cat however)

I’m the oldest of eight children. I have four adorable younger brothers and three younger sisters. My parents are dreamers and quite innovative in more then one way. They somehow manage to raise a family and run five home businesses.

My dad is hilarious and has a very dry sense of humor. He’s a big tease and is rather fond of chocolate or homemade cinnamon rolls. Daddy is brilliant at farming and is a really awesome teacher. Although he’d never admit it, he has a really special bond with our great big fluffy Newfoundland.
My mum is super woman. It’s just that simple. She’s my hero and while we often debate about things like tattoos, I love her to death. She’s the glue that keeps our family together. I don’t know how she keeps us all on track, builds a chicken coop in the dead of winter, all while listening to our problems, but she does.

Louise- My incredibly talented best friend is creating peanut butter cups from scratch one minute, figuring how to lance animal wounds the next, or deciphering hieroglyphics in her spare time. My sister is pretty amazing and incredibly smart. She loves books, all animals, and is studying to become a midwife.
Amelia Bedelia- It hasn’t quite hit me that my sweet sister is a teenager now. She loves animals and hopes to become a vet someday. She can usually be found up in the rafters of our barn with Harry Potter in one hand and a cat in the other. She’s hilarious, has a huge heart, a love of bright colors, and creating things.
Tiger- My best friend and wrestling buddy is getting too big and far too tall. He’s shy, but once you get to know him you’ll realize what an awesome person he is. He has a very strong sense of right or wrong and is really loyal. Tiger is a natural leader, a really great big brother, and is hilarious. He’s super smart, a hard worker and mechanically minded. Our farm wouldn’t be the same without him.
Jumpy- You really have to meet this guy to understand what we mean when we say he has a HUGE personality. He’s a really sweet kid, but he’ll talk your ear off if you let him. Jumpy is sensitive, has a huge heart, great with animals, outgoing, and is a really talented musician.

Kitty- She’s my right hand gal. I couldn’t do half the things I do without my little buddy at my side. She’s amazing at watching the little boys and just generally helping out. She loves her dolls, her cat, and chasing after her brothers or having her nails painted. She’s 50% girl and 50% boy.
Nookie- This adorable little dude and I have a special bond. He’s such a sweetheart and I love his little voice. Nookie is rather fond of coloring, his stuffed animals, helping in the kitchen, and gathering eggs.
Evil Baby- Don’t be fooled by his big blue eyes. He gives the best hugs, but the minute you turn your back he’ll be chasing the cats or riding Padfoot. He’s a wild little boy that we all spoil rotten. He loves the outdoors, cookies, and roughhousing with Padfoot.

And now a bit about moi….

16-18 age range.
My family is my world.
I like all types of music. From Taylor Swift to A Fine Frenzy, and David Crowder Band.
Words are my life. I live and breathe them.
There is nothing better then a good book and a cup of Earl Grey tea.
I have a vivid imagination.
I’m introverted until you get to know me.
I’m feisty, sarcastic, tenacious, and opinionated, but I’m also a motherly soul with a huge heart.
I am a firm believer that people should hug more.
I love to run.
I’m dramatic and tend to talk online in all caps.
I get lost in my head while dreaming or arguing with characters
I have a strong sense of wanderlust.
I’m adventurous and spontaneous.

I spend way too much time staring at the moon and stars. (Hey, it’s beautiful out in the country!)
I’m an amateur photographer.
Journaling is something I adore very much.
I loooooooove caffeine, thunderstorms, and just rain in general.
Cheese is awesome for the record.
Cats can make anything better. So can a great big fluffy puppy who thinks he is a lapdog.

  2. *is stunned by the epicness of this page* Okay, whenever you said you couldn’t write an About Me? Uhhhhh, don’t listen to whatever voice told you that. Because, girlie? This rocks. I’m very jealous at this moment in time. A good jealous, though. More of a stunned at the awesomeness kind of jealous. *grins*

  3. *dies from the epicness* Every time I think you couldn’t have written a better bio page, I find out I’m wrong. The descriptions of your family? The adorable photos and nicknames? The sentence structures? Girl. You have to stop being so insanely awesomesauce. xP
